REMINDER
APPLICATION DEADLINE IS
JANUARY 31st!

The Chestertown Tea Party Festival is a great opportunity for high-quality craftspeople to sell their work. The festival hosts 20,000 visitors annually in the historic district of colonial Chestertown, Maryland.

The festival welcomes applications from craftspeople using traditional methods and materials. All applicants are juried.

Applications must be postmarked no later than January 31, 2009.

Dates and Times

• January 31, 2009	Deadline for Applications
• March 15, 2009	Accepted applicants will be notified or checks returned
• May 10, 2009	Space Assignments mailed
• May 23, 2009	Set-up: 7am to 9am Vehicles must be off site 9 am NO EXCEPTIONS Breakdown 5 PM NO EARLIER
• May 24, 2009	Set-up 10 am t 11 am Breakdown 4 PM NO EARLIER

For FIRST-TIME Applicants: You MUST include 3-5 photographs of the types of work to be displayed. Photos must be labeled clearly with name, address, and phone number. These photos will not be returned.

All applications to the Crafts Committee is “Juried as a Craft” on the basis of suitability to the Colonial way of living, architecture, objects used during the Colonial period, handicrafts of the period, etc. Therefore, we reserve the right to reject any craft application. The decision of the Jury Committee is final.
